We wasted almost half of our second day because we did not wake up
early, so not to repeat the same mistake this time we all set alarm(s) on our phones before sleeping
and we were up early for an awesome third day in Goa. Today we had planned to
visit Bom Jesus Church, but we also wanted to check out Chapora fort. One of my
friends had suggested that Chapora fort is a must visit, so that's where we
went first. From Mapusa it took us around 15 minutes to reach the fort. It was
a very hot day, thus we made sure that we parked our bikes under the shade of a
tree. We trekked to the top of
the fort in no time, the fort was easily accessible. The fort had nothing
special (That's what we thought when we entered), it was a barren land with a small
architectural structure at the center.
It is when we started exploring the fort that we found a special place from where we could see the waves hitting the shore and marveled at its beauty.
